Koko Head Euphoria Original

There’s nothing quite like climbing 1048 steps and being 1200 feet above sea level with an amazing view of Hawaii Kai, Hanauma Bay, and Maunalua Bay. However, it’s the first step and the view from the bottom that I find the most inspiring. The goal is in front of you and it rises sharply out of the ground. I feel the red heat and my heart pounds as I take each step upward, but I’m thankful and elated when I get to the top. The descent is cool and clear; like the blue ocean below. Together, the red and blue of the path combine into a magnificent purple.  Euphoria has arrived and the hot and dry browns and greens of the grass and brush come through in vivid technicolor.
