This original ink and watercolor is #1 of 3 in a series commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Hawaii State Capitol building. It depicts the western (diamond head) facade of the building and includes Hawaii's state bird, the Nene, and the state motto superimposed over the island chain in the composition.
The image measures 14"x20" and is painted on 15"x22" cold-pressed watercolor paper. It is unframed and unmatted.
